For 20 years our founders have held on to the dream of creating a music company that is like no other. One that is independent, respected by artist and industry participants alike. The principles we operate by demand that we encourage artist of all disciplines, from musicians, vocalist, producers, and writers to embrace the changes in today's entertainment industry.  A one-stop shop that focuses on direct to consumer distribution designed to maximize profits for the creators of content without the overhead associated with major label deals and the extraction of revenue stream profits directed away from the artist themselves. We not only celebrate greatness, we facilitate the creation of greatness.

Double D Music Group was founded by two friends with similar goals as they entered the entertainment industry in Los Angeles, CA. President/ CEO David R Pope and Vice-president/ COO David Metoyer, form the nexus that is Double D. We got our start with Powerplant Entertainment Group located in North Hollywood, CA developing invaluable skill sets, demonstrating leadership and playing an integral part building an artist  management company, a recording studio and an in-house booking agency. There, we had the honor of working with various artist from music to comedy, as well as, TV and film. The best is yet to come and our journey continues...
